AquaTex uses a four-step approach to keep swimmers and their parents informed. Our goal is to have all information at your fingertips. Please let us know if you are unable to locate the information you need. Email Coach Mark.

Family File: Most written communication, such as the newsletter, schedules, time standards, etc., will be put in a file folder on deck that has your family name on it. It is the swimmer's responsibility to check their folder each time they attend practice. We will post these messages online whenever possible as we know the printed material sometimes get lost.

Team E-Mail Group: AquaTex has set up a team email group through Yahoo that is used to send e-mail messages to all members of the group. This e-mail group is used to announce upcoming meets and to make announcements concerning practice changes. There may occasionally be problems with the water temperature, and this e-mail group is an effective way to communicate schedule changes. The email ID that you provided on your registration form is automatically added to the AQTX Yahoo group. If you need to add additional email IDs to the AQTX Yahoo group, go to the bottom this page on and follow the directions.

Team Web Site: The club uses this website, www.aquatexswim.org, for news and/or scheduling information. Photos will also be posted on the website. Please note that names of swimmers will not be listed next to photos and only swimmers who granted permission to have their photos posted will be shown. Meet results will be posted with the swimmers first and last names.

Team Telephone Number: The club has a phone number that can be called to check practice status. The number is 512-636-8577. If a practice session needs to be canceled due to inclement weather, problems with the pool, etc., or if the practice will be moved to another pool, information will be available at the team phone number, 512-636-8577.

AquaTex uses a "Yahoo Group" e-mail system to notify members of any last minute changes to schedules and to announce upcoming events. It's easy to join! Click on the button below - or follow these steps.

Step 1: Go to http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/AquaTex/

Step 2: Click on the "Join This Group" button in the upper right corner.

Step 3: If you have a Yahoo ID you can sign-in. If you do not, you must create one.

Step 4: You will start getting emails from AquaTex Swim Team. You can unsubscribe at any time by following the links included in every email.
