Registering for Swim Meets

Registering for Swim MeetsAquaTex encourages swimmers to participate in as many meets during a season as possible. Swim meets are an important part of training and an opportunity for swimmers to mark their progress.

Please check the Meet Schedule, your email and your family file for information on upcoming meets.

How To Register: Print out an MEF or email entries to Mark.

--Download and print out a meet entry form, fill it out, and then bring it to the pool, along with a check for entry fees, and place it in the “completed meet entry file”.

--Just email Mark Parshall the swimmers name, the events he/she is entering. Then bring a check to the pool next practice.
The info does not have to go on the form, just put the info in the body of the email.

Fees:
Fees MUST be paid prior to the meet. They can be paid by cash or check at the pool or by using our PayPal link.

The host of each meet sets a fee per swimmer/per event. Swimmers must pay the set fee for each event they enter. In addition, AquaTex will charge a per swimmer fee for the meet - usually $5. Once your swimmer is entered in the meet, no refunds are available.

If you submit an Meet Entry Form for a meet, you are responsible for the payment of all fees regardless of if your swimmer is able to attend or not. Once AquaTex pays the entry fees to the host team, we are unable to get a refund.

Out-of-Town Meets
Parents are responsible for transportation to out-of-town meets. When there is enough interest, AquaTex will rent transportation with each swimmer paying a portion of the rental fee and hotel fees. Coach Mark will determine if a swimmer is old/mature enought to attend without a parent.

When overnight stays are required, swimmers attending the meet will each pay a portion of the coach's expenses for attending the meet.
